Ensuring the safety and security of our students, faculty, and staff at St. Patrick Catholic School is essential to fostering an environment where students can grow academically, spiritually, and emotionally. We believe in respecting and protecting the dignity of every child and staff member.

St. Patrick Catholic School has measures in place to protect students and staff. Some of these protocols include:

• Secured entrances, privacy screens on fencing, and locked classroom doors

• ID badges and school uniforms quickly identify members of our school community

• Emergency preparedness drills, monthly safety drills

• School Crisis Response Team

• Safety response protocol trainings for our staff with the Alachua County Sheriff’s Department

• First Aid/CPR/AED trainings every two years for all staff members

• Two-way radios for all staff members

• First aid kits in all classrooms

• Immediate emergency communication with parents through our FACTS Parent Alert system
