Middle school is a time of great physical, emotional, social, and intellectual changes, and our middle school framework provides multiple levels of support and structure to foster growth in all areas.
St. Patrick Middle School students rotate classes throughout the day for the core subjects; Religion, Language Arts, Literature, Math, Science, and Social Studies. Our rigorous curriculum offers traditional and advanced classes.
A variety of technological tools and learning platforms are utilized to support different learning styles and to facilitate activities and assignment submission. In addition to all core subject areas, all middle school students participate in physical education, technology, foreign language, and students may partake in other elective classes such as art, band, media, or choir.
Our Middle School team works hard to develop strong relationships between students, teachers, families and the broader community by participating in specific service learning projects each year. We give our middle school students the tools they need to learn independence while leaning on their faith and supportive adults for guidance.
St. Patrick Catholic School's curriculum aligns with the Academic Standards of the Diocese of St. Augustine in conjunction with Florida State Standards. We evaluate all our approaches, methods, resources, and curriculum materials with the National Standards and Benchmarks for Effective Catholic Elementary and Secondary Schools and the Florida Catholic Conference. At the heart of a Catholic education, however, is an approach that nurtures the whole person — academically, spiritually, socially, and emotionally.
