At St. Patrick, students and teachers embrace our Catholic faith. Weekly Masses offer students an opportunity to be lectors, altar servers, and sacristans; classes take turns as the choir, leading the school in song. Religion classes are a core component of the curriculum and offer a foundation in our Catholic beliefs and traditions. Monthly prayer services allow us to focus on special celebrations and observances of our liturgical seasons.
The cornerstone of the education for students is their faith formation and relationship with Christ. This formation also takes place through daily prayer, sacramental preparation, feast day activities, prayer intentions, priestly guidance and church celebrations. Students, faculty, and families have opportunities to come together in prayer, to recite the Holy Rosary, and to celebrate our Faith and diversity. Some of the opportunities that students participate in throughout the year are:
Altar Serving
Catholic Schools Week
Singing in the choir
Lector at daily Mass*
Lenten Stations of the Cross
Living Rosary
Patron Saint at each grade level
Reconciliation
Retreats for all grades, First Reconciliation and First Communion
